Don’t miss a special encore presentation by Matte Goode, U of A Research Scientist, who began a long-term study of reptiles and lizards in Stone Canyon in 2002.

  • 100 Tiger Rattlesnakes have been radio tracked and located nearly 10,000 times.
  • 4,500+ snakes from 21 species have been identified in Stone Canyon–among the most diverse snake communities in the Sonoran Desert.

And, hear from Diane Kawashima, Stone Canyon resident, about her personal experience on what’s it’s like to be bitten by a rattlesnake.

Refreshments will be available for purchase and admission is free.
