In 2015, Nora was installed as commander of the Third Fleet, making her the first woman to lead a United States Navy ship fleet. Nora served out country for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2017 and making her home in Stone Canyon. Nora’s accomplishments are ground breaking and her experiences are vast.
