Focus of the 2015 SCCF Grant: Parent and Child Tuition Support (PACTS) Provides sliding scale child care tuition assistance for children of low-income working families to attend a high-quality early learning center, Children’s Achievement Center. PACTS takes a multipronged approach to breaking the cycle of poverty by eliminating barriers that keep parents from being able to work and further job skills while preparing their child to enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed through CAC’s national-accredited early learning program.
Measurable Outcomes: 100% of children enrolled in the Children’s Achievement Center made progress across all developmental domains and were prepared to advance to kindergarten or, if younger, the next level of education.
