Goals and Objectives

  • Explore and develop creative ideas for specific fundraising events for the SCCF
  • Raise sufficient funds to support the Grants generated by the SCCF

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute fundraising events
  • Determine date and time for events
  • Research and contact key individuals and resources specific to the event being planned
  • Identify target groups specific to each event
  • Develop a plan of action for each event
  • Appoint subcommittees to implement action plan
  • Establish a financial plan for each event
  • Estimated cost of event
  • Estimated revenue from event
  • Coordinate with facility holding event
  • Coordinate with the Communication Committee to publicize event
  • Organize staffing for events
  • Coordinate tickets, food/beverage, parking, etc with facility at location of event
  • Generate recognition and thank you notification to appropriate individuals following the event
  • Communicate Events Committee minutes and recommendations to the SCCF Board of Directors and other Committees, as appropriate.
